So here we are in 2018.
I’m just putting the finishing recording touches to a new single called « Same Mistake. »
I wrote the song early in December 2017 and I love getting down and recording a song so quickly because I tend just to do an arrangement without second-guessing.
I can’t tell you how much this speeds things up and makes life simpler.
I’ve got songs I would love to record and wanted to record for ‘My Titanic’ but they’ve been around long enough for me to have tried different arrangements and it’s easy to get bogged down. Which is the best way to go?
Anyway, the new song addresses the fact that history, even our personal history, has a tendency to repeat itself. I suspect we’ve all made mistakes we’d like to avoid repeating.
Simpler said than done.
I’ll let you know when the song is up on Spotify and available as a download from all the usual suspects.

Another year’s end and time to wish you all a merry Christmas and a 2018 that will surpass your wildest dreams.

I am currently recording a new single called ´Same Mistake’ which should be out in the near future. It’s kind of my version of ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again.’
